Susan had a long career in marketing and business management for large companies such as Carnation, Nestle, and Wells Fargo after graduating from the University of Iowa. After retiring, she remained involved in community and philanthropic organizations including the San Francisco Symphony, Bay Area Discovery Museum, various school boards and National Charity League. Many of our clients could benefit from quarterly help through the year; however, any assistance your family can provide is always helpful. Together with a Resource Counselor, families who are receiving services from Adopt A Family will create a list of items they need, but are having difficulty purchasing. These items may include basic household needs such as nonperishable food items, clothing or toiletries. Donors are paired with a family, purchase items on the list and deliver them to our office.
